Questions about the Jellyfin seedbox
What we get asked most often about Jellyfin.
Is Jellyfin really free?
Yes. Jellyfin is open source software, with no subscription. You only pay for your seedbox.
Is Jellyfin included in every plan?
Yes, Jellyfin is installed on every plan, from Lite to Ultra.
Jellyfin or Plex, which one should I pick?
Plex works on more devices, Jellyfin is open source and needs no third-party account. Both are installed on your seedbox: use one, the other or both.
How much space do I need for a media library?
It depends on what you want to keep. The Pro plan (1 TB) suits a large library, the Ultra plan (2 TB) is for those who never want to delete anything. The MaSeedBox+ option adds space 1 TB at a time.
